 D.C. O.G.'s The Dismemberment Plan solidified themselves as one of the original off-the-wall rock acts of the late-1990's/early-2000's. Though the D.C.-based band called it quits in 2003, they clearly influenced, well, pretty much every forward-thinking indie rock band that has formed in the past decade.
