In The Flesh
With their multi-instrumental talents, The Low Anthem mix everything from quiet folk to ethereal chamber pop. To add an immense layer of reverb to their already complex sound, the band recorded their upcoming album, Smart Flesh, in an abandoned pasta sauce factory. Give your ears a treat this February when The Low Anthem drench the walls of the Sixth and I Historic Synagogue with a mélange of unique sonics.

 | Dr. Funkenstein in Chocolate City Anyone who's been to a George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic show can attest that their life has never been the same after getting down with the band's twisted funk sound. The good news? The Mothership is landing at 9:30 Club this Saturday. That means it'll be a tad more acceptable when you wake up on Sunday wearing a tie-dyed blazer and platforms with fish in the heels.
