Heading in a new musical direction, White Lies was formed after the members dissolved their previous band, Fear of Flying. This year, they released their second album, Ritual, showcasing a darker brand of atmospheric post-punk and indie rock. After supporting bands like Kings of Leon and Muse, White Lies are touring on their own and arriving at 9:30 Club this Friday for a night of intense guitars and haunting melodies.
