Brazilian State of Mind
Brazilian singer Céu made her initial mark with an updated take on traditional samba and bossa nova. Her latest album, Caravana Sereia Bloom, is a more psychedelic and ambient endeavour, with a bit of Tropicalia influence thrown in. Regardless of inspiration, Céu's music is always capped off with her dreamy, hypnotic vocals. Hop on the caravan and let Céu take you on her musical journey at Sixth & I Historic Synagogue this June.

Antiques Roadshow
If one were to make a musical melting pot consisting of world music, electro, and just about every other experimental genre, Beats Antique would be the name of the recipe. With highly dance-centric live shows courtesy of member Zoe Jakes, Beats Antique rounds things out with live drums, programming, and heavy improv from members David Satori and Tommy Cappel. Alan Evans Trio @ U Street Music Hall
Drummer for Soulive and formerly of Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Alan Evans knows how to lay down some slick grooves. With his latest project, Alan Evans Trio, Evans has teamed up with seasoned guitarist Danny Mayer and freelance organ wizard Beau Sasser.
